too large

not sure which forum to put this but my sun is too large...any ideas how to shrink?  using sun mod....also, how do i get reflection on water?...water effects on high

As for the water reflections, you could try, but what kind of video card do you have?

nx6600gt 128mb pci-x....i was told this was good enough for fs9, but i wonder......just another view....

What water GFX do you have? with perfect water i didn't get any either, try another...


As for the sun, find the texture, go into paint and erase some around the corners

Nah, just download another texture...

thats is probably the easiest thing to do, to just download a new texture for it, but before you do take into mind that when you zoom in an an aircraft like you have, everything will become larger, for example the sun and the moon

so it will be ultra small when your on normal zoom, however if you go into the options - view menu, you can make it so that the view is closer to the aircraft without adjusting the zoom, and therefore you get the detailed shot of the a/c, but not the incresed size of the sun, moon etc.

The sun is that big because its setting and rising.  Even in real life at sunset and sun rise the sun looks HUGE

its actually that big higher in the sky....... am just using flight environment....no idea what water texture may lurking around now..think i've tried a few....thanks lilley, i'll check that out.....
