It was like any other day, I had just finished giving some tourists an arial tour of Tampa bay and I was just leaving the pilot lounge and heading to my Piper Cherokee to fly back home in Lakeland when some suits walked up to me and offered me a job. All I had to do was fly an R-4D from here to somewhere near Kissamee, stay for a couple of days, fly back, and not tell anbody where I was going. I was offered $20,000. I aked when I was leaving. "Tomarrow at 13 hundred hours." Man, I thaought, I am not dealing with some rich fat-cats, those guys were military types. I looked around the parking and saw a navy R-4D with no Paint exept for the identifing marks.
The next mourning I flew back down to the airport and met with the guys from last night. They gave me a suitcase filled with $20 bills. I walked into the plane and saw that it was already loaded with a bunch or brainy looking guys, all with the same badge on all of there shirts. Somthing that looked like NADA. I walked up to the cockpit and buckeled inn for about an hour flight. The weather was great, a few scattered clouds, no wind, unlimited visibility. I was ready for an easy flight.
After about an hour, the weather started to deteriorate, only about 2 miles of visibility, rain, turbulence. Luckely we were on our final aproach. Seemed kinda of strange I had never heard of Sheppered INTL. I looked at the silloet of a city through the clouds and saw one of the largest buildings I had ever seen.
After I had landed and all the passengers had unloaded, I went to get off.I did, I saw an add for Coca-Cola. At least I knew I was still in Florida.
To be contenuided very soon.
Please tell me what you think. The aircraft is the MAAM DC-3, and the scenery which you will see much better in part 2 is the Things-to-come LunarPilot.
