Chasing contrails

Postby krigl » Fri Mar 31, 2006 6:27 pm

I finally got round to trying out the DSB Designs Hawk.... love it!

Just messing about over London.

I always thought Hawks were a bit weedy and harmless but it looks quite mean in camo with some weaponry tacked on.

Thanks for looking

You need a better contrail effect...the default one is 2D...the 3D package I use is loads better...looks nice too ;) ;)

Thanks for the comments, all!

I use MGRAB to capture screenshots, and photoshop to resize and save to web.

The 3D contrail Ashar mentioned may be this one:

http://library.avsim.net/search.php?Sea ... &Go=Search

I searched for one on SimV and couldn't find one. I think I use it, but some planes have their own contrail effects, and I was following a 50 km ai contrail (another package).

Cheers

Krigl
