Very cool shots there Ed.

The EE Lightning is a great aircraft. I saw the first Lightning to fly in recent times on her maiden flight at an airshow in Cape Town in South Africa. It is the one that belongs to Thundercity. The power that this plane has is just unbelievable, even in todays standards. It can climb vertically up to FL300 within less than a minute.

I have also stood right next to to plane, and WOW, have you seen how thin those tires are?  :o

Nice shots Ed!  I agree with you, I like that color scheme.  For some reason the Lightning just makes me want to play 'Thunderstruck' by AC/DC
