Enroute to Seattle from Miami at FL320

Sun begins to set in the wintery midwest USA

Some traffic along the route. The aircraft 500ft above is a 737 classic which we took over eventually (737 cruised at approx m.76 while I was in high-speed cruise @ m.845). Dont know what the traffic below me is.

Joining a new airway towards KSEA

Well, I had an enjoyable view

Now what I like about Nexus is that his shots always show Commerial airliner's doing what they do best....I always love your shots and to think of it, makes me feel like a novice at flying....I can't program an FMC.....but I doubt it's impossible to fly without an FMC......cool shots Nexus :o

Thanks Ashar  :)
It's not impossible to fly without the FMC, several airliners are infact certified to fly despite the FMC being INOP. And in the U.S, the airways are mostly VOR-VOR so the route could've easily be flown with just the two nav radios.
But the FMC does help you alot, especially with performance parameters. I mean can you imagine flipping through hundreds of pages just to find the correct N1 limit during the current cruize conditions, and fuel burn data etc? That's TIRESOME, and that's why I like automated aircrafts.  :)
