I had a weird experience the other night while I was flying, I encountered this:

I take it you were flying rather far north? ....... its actually M$ version of the northern lights.

No, not realistic at all, cause when I passed 13.000 feet, it was below me, and as far as I know, the northern lights occur as a result of solar particles colliding with the gases in the earths atmosphere. Therefor It would be pretty hard to fly ABOVE them, especially in Beech 1900. ;)

Plus I was flying over Sonderborg, in Denmark, so I wasnt that far north.

Yeah! Maybe it is just a dirty windshield, though when I took off it was fine, so it must have been a bird with some ace poo'ing skills.

not very realistic tough, you will find flying pigs before you find northern light i denmark. ;)
