Big Spine

Postby ramsa329 » Sat Jul 23, 2005 12:11 pm

Since my good friend Nick Churchill has alrady set a precedent by using a frame I decided his weekend to post some framed shots in my own style.

This is a great freeware plane that I'm sure you've all seen. The F-16 Big spine.

The scenery is also freeware and it's the Northern Israel/Haifa scenery.

What makes this whole thing payware are the textures from FSscene and the sky and clouds.

Hope you enjoy!

Michael I almost want to print your shots with a photo printer and hang them on my wall. They are gorgeous as always man. Absolutely stunning. What you squeeze out of a PC is second to none my friend!

Dave et al

Yes I am running the european FsScenery textures for Israel with a special landclass.

The problem regarding Israel and its location makes for an interesting issue with scenery.

Since FSscene has no middle eastern textures the decision as to which textures would be more representative of Israel would be between Africa and Europe or to simply use the default which isn't even close.

I would like to mix them up but have no idea how.

Each of my series of FSscene is in seperate folders under scenery/world/texture since otherwise scenery textures will overlap each other.

Great shots, really enjoyed them. Pity about all the other negativity in the thread. It always seeems to be the newer members who make these carping comments, not the ones like ramsa who've been around for 2, 3 and more years and who made the place what it is.

Handy lesson - always a good idea to get your brain into gear before sounding off ;)
