Aeroplane Heaven Vs. Alpha Blue Ciel

Postby Wing Nut » Sat Jul 16, 2005 1:26 pm

Several people have asked me how this plane stacks up to the Alpha Bleu Ciel F4U-7 and the Aeroplane Heaven bird.  Here are a few so you can make the comparison for yourself...

I had noticed the engine in the Alpha was tilted odd, but I had always put that down to the fact that the F4U-7's engine was tilted off axis to allow for an even larger prop.  Looking at it now, I notice the whole fornt end seems skewed.  Wierd.

BTW, that fact that they're so close is not at condemnation of the AH planes.  It's not that they're bad, it that the Alpha is so GOOD!

Kevin, thanks.  I thought I had seen that somewhere before but couldn't remember.

Is the right side suppose to have the star so far back?

Nice shots Kevin

Did a few the other day of the AH Corsair that was my prize for the last screenie contest to show it off a bit but they were a bit ordinary so I didn't post em. I'll have to do some more now

Nice, I like Corsairs but not as much as you, so I'll stick with the freeware! ;D

You'll never know what you're missing until you fly the F2G.  :)  I would suggest at least getting the later pack, as there is no freeware equivalent out there, and there's not likely to be until I get proficient enough at making planes to attempt it again.
