the mouth reminds me of this shark (cant remember its name, starts with a b) that opens its mouth really wide to catch food.

Great shots Savas, that last shot made me lmao - don't know why - could be the beer I s'pose.

I've just posted my own C-5 shots in the freeware forum - but I think your shots look fantastic.

Great work,

TSC.

I was inside a C-5 Galaxy today at the Quonset Point Airshow in RI. I can see in this screen that the pilot has to jump really really high in order to get to the flight deck LOL  :D ......They forgot to model the ladder for the crew to climb up  :-/

they didnt forget to model the ladders the model as it is now is around 80,000 polys.
the modeler wanted to put alot more features into the model and cargo loads but it hit the fps really badly and is at the high end of polys

Ah, ok I understand.
Although..... I can't really see how a ladder would add too much of a framerate hit.
The steps are flat, so there are four sides to them, (you don't have to model the ends, they are covered), figure maybe 20 steps, plus the sides of the steps, add another 8,  plus the hand rails (can be made square) so that would be minimum of 92 extra polys. so they could be made within a budget of 100 polys (in case of more than 20 steps).
So when you're talking about 80,000 polys, 100 more won't make a difference.
Not a critisism, because this looks like a GREAT model, just breaking it down.

Agreed, the flight is the most important.  :)
