Emergency

Postby SaVas » Sun Jun 19, 2005 3:23 pm

Call came from some local hikers of a forest fire on the dry mountian ranges in California

The C-3 fire aircraft takes off. Destination FIRE

We spotted the fire and are headed there to put 'er out

Lil' warm here Captain ;)

This is the new KBT freeware orion fire tender, and not sure if it has the fire control spray or not as I havent found a key command for it but its a great looking change and repaint.

In payware section because I used Lago FSE Enhancer to make the fire thanks to the generous uploads of designers on the lago forums (used a bonfire and made it big and sunk it into the ground so only the fire was showing)

Thanks for looking

Stephen

Try the smoke key? For the slurry/water
Wing fold looks to be used in the .cfg file?Maybe the slurry doors open with it?
I'm at work so I cant' use the sim. But I read the config file.
Now I cant' wait to get home!

I love FSE but then again I know a lot of people that have had problems with it in the past, and dont even ask for Lago support because, well its just not there. I have known a few that had issues and was able to help them get it working, but nice thing about FSE is if you have a creative mind and know where to place objects or manipulate them (the fires in this one were actually bonfires that another FSE user created, I just sunk them into the ground and made them much bigger and grouped a few together to make a forest fire)

Sharing however is a bit more difficult. I can share them, however what you have to do is download all kinds of objects from FSE Enhancer download section (over 100 pages of nifty downloads - though some work and some dont) and hope you have all the downloads that I have that make up my sceneries.

Well.....Heck.....I will probably take the plunge!
Just seems like it would be neat to make your own little adventures!
And brighten up the boring airports we fly out of.
Being in Arizona, It's going to be a long hot fire season!
It's already been bad the last few weeks.....So now, thanks to you I've got a tanker! and some ideas!
By the by, Did you take a look at making the water/slurry work yet?
Cuz a head on shot of that would be "KWEL"

Great pics of a great plane.

If you struggle with Lago support on FSE (I personaly have sent them several emails without reply!) try sending Mathijs a PM over at the Aerosoft forum. If you ask nicely he may be able to help.
