AF-18 Video

Postby Stormtropper » Mon Apr 25, 2005 7:18 am

Got bored Saturday night...and made a FS video...

The frame rates aren't so good (because I only have a 7200 rpm...so I can't get anymore :'() and camera action isn't too smooth (I'm too cheap to get TrackerIR, and Active Camera requires me to get rid of the no-cd patch, HELL NO! :-X)

Should be here shortly...

Comments and crtictisms welcomed! (but do remember its my first video...)

active cam does not require to get rid of the no cd patch. it's just that it seems to create problems in some people's sim. personally i never had a problem using both together

AWSOME job Jeff! :)
Love the song choice too! This made me want to get it all the more, but I'm still unsure... ::)

Where?

Edit1:  Never mind found it

Edit2:  I am thinking of making an anime video of Sentou Yousei Yukikaze which looks very great and has some nice flying action in it. Wont be earlier than next week though.

Edit3: Lovely stuff Great song choice too. One thing though the Red messages like Spot and Vc 50%zoom and those kinda things. Maybe you could try to avoid those. There is a way I think to make the dissapear completely but I don't know how. Anyway lovely stuff!!!

For simplicity's sake I've placed a link to the video, because it took me some time finding it. Great video!!  :D

You enter a line into the FS9.cfg file (it keeps you from using the view options though)

HideInfoText=1

I belive that's the one!

I have the TrackIR 2 and Active Camera also and I run with a no-cd patch. Check the sites of those two products again, you should be able to get it all working.

Just finished watching the video. I liked it! Really loved the lighting flashes in the aircraft.
