yeah it's by aerosoft. i was quite happy when it came out coz finally they covered my hometown ;D, but it comes down hard on my system and i do get very long texture loading times occasionally :(. still a decent scenery overall tho.

i use 2d cockpits mostly so i haven't spend much time in the vc of the cessna yet. seems alright at the first look but you have to test it urself coz ur probably more the specialist in that subject ;)

heh, well. I aint flown 2d panel since fs2002 came out.
Isnt VFR like that supposed to be good, as it doesnt have autogen so u can get very good FPS..??

Must be a nice area u live in  ;D

;D yeah i dunno why i'm into the 2d panels at the moment. at the beginning i thought i would never use one but that changed. maybe coz i'm too lazy to pan around the vc? ;D. i do like very detailed vcs tho but they also tend to hit the FPS quite a bit. i prefer the more photorealistic 2d panels (the captain sim 727 for example) to the normal ones tho coz it just looks...well, realer lol.

yeah the lack of autogen certainly helps with the framerate and actually the framerate is really good with the scenery but the problem is the loading of ground textures. sometimes it works fine and sometimes it just doesnt load properly (so the texture stays blurry) and u have to hit pause to make them load properly :-/. i'm sure the problem can be solved and i read some posts of people with the same problem that came up with solutions. just have to keep trying and adjust stuff and maybe play around with the fs9.cfg a bit hehe.

actually i live in kent at the moment ;D but my hometown is in bavaria. it's up in the north of the state tho, so it's not very spectacular to look at in the scenery coz there r no mountains at all ;D

Yurei,

Nice shots.

Keep in mind that the SimV max size limit for a picture is 100K....and some are over that.  You need to use a photo edit program and get the size down using a bit of compression before uploading.

best,
