Doing a Henshaw

Postby ozzy72 » Fri Oct 15, 2004 11:20 am

As some of you may know Alex Henshaw is my hero, and not only was he a great Spitfire test pilot, he also tested the Lancaster, and I wanted to repeat one of his well known tricks, feather two engines and roll her ;D

Sorry Ozzy. Any mug can roll a Lanc on two engines. Henshaw on the other hand barrel-rolled it. You have to do it with outspilling your wineglass either. ;D ;)

And keeping a ping pong ball "floating" an inch above the cockpit coaming - whilst over Birmingham city centre... ;)
