YAKOVLEV YAK-3

Postby Fly2e » Mon Apr 26, 2004 7:00 pm

After seeing some video of this beautifully crafted plane designed by Captain Sim, I had to get her! Screamed out of Grove Airport in Washington State to a crowd of on lookers who were quite surprised to see an aircraft like this roaring through the skies!

PS. I am still waiting on my system to be fixed so these were shot with not the specs listed below!

Rumbling to the end of the runway.

An old timer who had his jaw on the floor shot this!

Cleared for take off!

The rumbling beast gently leaves the earth.

The fun now begins!!

Hope you liked and I am pulling my hair out waiting to get my PC back!!!!

Stunning! Love that paint job.

Oh yeah, is it very often that a Russian pilot get 12 confirmed aerial kills? Last pic.

P.S. Did the yak in the last pic have a different paint job than the others?

I think that's a vent or somthing... ::) Or it may very well be a bullet hole. Ya never know... If he got hit, he should thank God that the engine didn't blow...

Thanks for all your nice comments. I really miss posting shots. After having a few hours with my new PC, I find it hard to fly and post when I know the final outcome!  ;)

Russian aircraft victory markings are assiciated with the aircraft, not the pilot.

And what are those german BN Islanders doing in the USA?
Russian planes: IL-76 (all standard length ones),  Tu-154 and Il-62, Tu-134 and [url=http://an24.uw.hu/]An-24RV[/ur
