Albeit, for a Spitfire skipper like you, it must be kinda confusing  ;D

Nexus...you bout it already...how is it...I heard that there is some kind of confusion with using the speed...you have to control the throttle???...so what do you think of it...is it worth the money...$30

No confusion, you have to understand that the aircraft doesn't have an autothrottle, so you have to manually adjust the speed.

Take a descent for example, your descent speed is 290knots (Vnav default), if you retard the throttle to idle the aircraft will perform a steeper descent than if you had the throttles at 55% N1, for example. The descent will be more steep because the aircraft must keep up with the 290knots. The aircraft itself can't control the engine power, however it can control the pitch to keep the selected airspeed

Flying without A/T is not hard, it just requires some more thinking, and constant monitoring of the airspeed

Even if I zoom in, the PFD and ND are still hard to read correctly.

I have the VC quality setting at the highest.
I think the virtual cockpit is very overrated. The panel quality is not nearly as good as the 2D ones, and it eats lots of framerate  :)

You should go to the FeelThere website....and look at the forum...I have been there watching the post...and nothing against FeelThere or Wiclo...but there seems to be many problems....with the FMC and the guages not being able to see in regular view (you have to zoom in like Nexus showed)...but over all it seems like a great jet...maybe I will download it when they come out with a few fixes for there minor problems

Right... Autothrottle... What's that now? I don't think I've ever used autothrottle, I always manual it, and rely on my judgement. But ILS is awsome!
Have been monitoring this aircraft for quite some time now, but haven't checked in about a week... and guess what... it comes out, what's that about? But ya, like jrpilot said, when they fix some problems with it, I'll problably get it.

the autopilot on the CRJ is very basic.
Even pete, who has never touched those funny looking buttons on the glareshield panel can learn how to operate it  ;)
