Super Cobra Ground Support Mission

Postby zulumike » Tue Nov 23, 2010 9:38 pm

The screenshot is the Marines' AH-1W Super Cobra engaging an enemy target.
The aircraft is from a SimV downlaod of the Super Cobra Package.
Scenery is FSX default.
Thanks for looking.

Cheers, Mike

[color=#000000]Come on now Mike, fess up. You fiddled with a photo a bit and said it was a FS edit. ::)
Dang that is good.

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

Thanks guys for the kind comments.
I have attached the original screenshot prior to my edit.
It helps to have a nice model to start the edit work.
Again, hats off to Alphasim for providing this ex-payware to SimV.
My scenery was FSX default, Al Taji, Iraq.
I used GIMP and Paint.Net, both freeware. I stop using Photoshop, the mentioned editors are simpler to use and just as powerful. I used over (25) filters on the Cobra edit.

Cheers, Mike ;)

Nice edit!  We had HMA-169 covering our butts in Iraq for a few months, nice to have them around  ;)
