I don't wish to be a wet blanket. I think you should point out that these are edited photos & not screenshots. The photographer also deserves some credit.

What is considered an edited "screenshot" ?

Are no photos allowed to be edited in this forum?

What are we allowed to edit ?

Need clatrification SimV moderator, I certainly don't want to break any rules. I am just trying new art techniques and make interesting and unique screenshots from a different perspective. Aviation is beautiful and this forum is a good way to honor the beauty of aviation.

Yes Grumpy , these are edited photos as first stated in my first edition of "edited scereenshots" I am a member of Airliners.Net, which by permission I use the photos from their data base.

B-25 Photographer: Borut Smrdelj

All photos edited with Microsoft Paint and Paint.Net

Technically, the word "screenshot" in this context means "screenshots of a flight simulator program", although technically you can take a "screenshot" of anything displayed on your monitor. I agree that the wording is a bit vague, but... I also feel that the intended purpose of the "Edited Screenshots" forum is pretty obvious.  ;)

Edited photos find their way into this forum from time to time and it's no big deal, but as Hagar points out, some credit to the source would be a nice gesture.

And in future, feel free to post photos- edited or not, yours or someone else's- in the Photos forum.

No cofusion here.

Screenshot has always clearly meant to me a screen shot taken in flight simulator as this is a flight simulator site.
