Into the war zone

I have hardly done a dozen edits... so it is all still quite new to me. I loved the look of the aircraft in Mustang's shots, so I downloaded it and came up with this by accident...

C+C please

The original of the aircraft was taken with a blue sky background... the ground is near the shuttle landing site and well, I don't quite know how I got the sort of fire looking effect on the ground but I liked it, so I kept it. Afterburner was with about 15 circles blurred.

Cheers

great job! especially since you're just starting out more or less. one thing if i may suggest would be totry and fix up the jaggies on the wings, and you can try fooling around with the lighting effects to give it a more realistic effect. overall great job!  ;) and the afterburner is sweet, along with the ground blur. gives a good feel of speed  :D
