DC-3 ready and waiting.

This is probably my first proper and completed edit, but after flying around for a few hours getting practise I found myself in a DC-3 waiting on the grass, and I liked the angle so I screenshot it and then soon enough I found myself editing it.

Using a few tools on Paint.net I was able to cut out the scenery and aircraft leaving just the grass. I replaced this grass with a texture I had and stiched it back onto the image. I did similarly with the aircraft- I left only the aircraft and applied a sky/ground texture over it and set it as a 'reflect' so that it looked like it had a bit of a shine to it. Apart from that it is just the base sepia layer, an embossed layer to give a bit of a bumpmap, a black and white layer to drain a bit of the colour and then a high contrast layer to give it that sort of photography feel.

C+C please.

Cheers

;)

Yeh I agree... could perhaps try and edit it darker soon.

Thanks for the feedback.

Its an interesting result, to me it has a 'painted' look about it somehow :)

Thanks both of you.

The grass is simply an image I had scaled down and replaces a cut out section of pre-grass grass.

My original intention was for it to just look oldy and photo-y, but yeh it does look a bit painted.
