Il2 sturmovik, that is ( I guess it is allowed? ).

A Finnish Gladiator Moves in to finish this Soviet Tupolev TB-3 bomber.

Did a bit of softening on the landmass and clouds, and the obvious cropping. I really like the sunset effect in IL2, especially when over water. FS2004 Doesn't really capture such an atmosphere as well, at least not with the skytextures & water effects I'm using.
Err. This is your captain speaking. There is absolutely no cause for alarm.

Sure is :D! Sometimes I just grab a Bf110 and try to shoot down like 18 or so. It's one of the lamest things you can do, really.

You know what's even more fun??

Flying a massive TB3 raid in multiplayer. We had more than 10 of those crates flying in close formation the other day. Man was it fun! And it looked pretty scary to the enemy too!  ;D

Btw. I think this should go into the cage... (new forum  ;))

You are allowed to fly the Maxim Gorky in Il-2 now? Placed onto "to buy" list.  ;) Very nice edit!

Make sure you get IL2 1946. It has the original IL2 Forgotten Battles and all the expansions in one box! You can get it for only 15 bucks if you look in the right place.  :) I don't live in the US though, so I had to pay a bit more, but it was still worth it!

No, Il2 doesn't have the Ant-20. The shown bomber is the somewhat smaller TB-3. But still, it's the most realistic WWII combat flight sim out there.

Thank you! It makes a lovely wallpaper. I have one in 1280 by 1024, if someone would like to have it.
