I took the advice about the edges and lighting, and this is the best I could do... compression murdered this one

Sorry i accidentally deleted the high res :-/
Nick
This is a great improvement on you last edit. The plane and backdrop have similar lighting and quality so they blend well. You can still see where you erased the other plane, although it is much less noticeable this time around. Also it looks like you didn't blur the edges, nice.
It's my opinion that you shouldn't do photo/phot composites as you can't make a photograph look any more realistic than it already is. I would suggest editing screenshots. If you're having trouble getting a good screenshot for a composite, try posting some raw shots in studio V and work on those skills first.
Keep up the good work, and i know you trying your best.
Def. much better!! Those edges are coming along
One thing tho, you seem to have squashed the 747 veritcally a bit?? Or its that just me?
Oooooooooh! Hey! No reason in the world to stop doing edits, Nick! :)
Do you remeber when you were learning how to tie your shoe laces? Do you remember when you were learning how to tell time or to write in script instead of printing everything? It's exactly the same deal, Nick! You didn't even think about giving up with those things. You were simply determined to keep going with them until you got it! This is no different!
You CAN do this AND you can do it WELL! There is no question about that! Just be calm and patient with yourself. Take your time. Experiment. Listen to the tips from the more experienced guys. Most importantly, keep doing it! Every time you make one you'll learn something new! The more you make, the more you'll learn!
Everyone is rooting for you, Nick. You can't miss! 8-)
Edges are MUCH better in this one...good job [smiley=thumbup.gif]. You're improving...

You have to look very hard at this shot to find anything even slightly wrong with it, and if you feel an impulse to do that you shouldn't be here in the first place!!
Really really good, it looks real...the plane especially came straight from a flight sim, and yet looks realistic enough that it fooled me for a few seconds after seeing this edit.
