Lunar Lander...almost there!!

Postby FlyBajan » Mon May 21, 2007 9:14 pm

So I decided after all this time to join an on-line flight! Flying a Mustang, I landed in Liverpool (I think).
What a blast! I parked with a view of the runway. I felt like I got a front row seat for the "Three
Stooges Air Show Spectacular"! One guy in a helicopter was stuck in the water, multiple planes
were taking off and landing at the same time, another guy flew a 737 into the hillside! Just then
a 747 crashed on the runway right in front of me, then he came back, landed and flipped up onto
his nose!!! (still can't figure how he managed that one) To top it off, I noticed a huge plume of smoke
and realized that the Space Shuttle was taking off just a few hundred yards from me!

I can't wait to go back there!!!
;D

I know you saw this earth before but after downloading the Lunar Lander, I just
had to use it again! can you blame me?!!?

(Just now, I switched this image. The previous one had the earth way to big, so I made it smaller!)

PS What is the deal with these people who insist that the moon landings were all staged and
never happened? Morons!!! I mean, we can aim a telescope and see a billion light years away.
Surely we can see all the junk left back by the Apollo missions (lunar rover for example!) on
the moon that is just a stones throw away!!

What say you?

(Where's Elliot Gould when you need him?)

Amazing.  You can get into the moon's gravitational pull?

Is that last one FSX?  And if so did someone create a package with the moon? :O :O  That would be AWESOME!

Q: Is that last one FSX?  And if so did someone create a package with the moon? Shocked Shocked  That would be AWESOME!

A: Yes that would be awesome! If there is, I don't know about it. But the reality is, I got that moon photo off
Google Images. The earth is from some sort of live update image of the planet program that I downloaded
for my Mac. (It's pretty cool!) I drew the stars, so the Lunar Lander is the only FS item! Now that I have this
craft, I want to fly to...and land on the moon more than ever!

Stunning shots as always.

If you want to fly to the moon you can.....and further.

Orbiter is a free space flight simulator, very well made. It has a steep learning curve but it's very rewarding and is visually very impressive, I'd love to see an Orbiter Pano.
