It has a lot of jaggies. You use elements, right? What selection methods does it offer?

I used the polygonal lasso tool and a lot of eraser.

Allright... it's better to make a nice and clean selection with the polygonal lasso tool (plt) and not use the eraser. Does the "plt" have an option for anti aliassing? If so, always make sure it is checked. Be very carefull when cutting out the plane. Zoom in to about 700% and go around the whole plane. In case you didn't know, you can move the pic by pressing the spacebar and then dragging it with the mouse. This also works while making the selection.

Cool edit, looks like it took a lot of work.... the plane looks like it really belongs there, though on close inspection the afore-mentioned jaggies give it away....

I think it looks really good, [smiley=thumbsup.gif] but the lighting looks a little off in my opinion.

The shadow has quite a few problems. For a first it looks good though.

You're on the way, but the main thing you need to work on is shading (not necessarily just the shadow underneath). The Learjet looks as if it's still sitting in Flight Simulator, and doesn't quite blend into the picture. Try to pick out shadows and highlights on the plane itself, to get it to look like it's part of the main picture - look for the position of the sun, where shadows would be cast, etc.

However, keep going, and you'll improve. :)
