You know, I never was able to get that Big Bertha up in the air . . . something about the flight dynamics was screwy when I was trying to fly her.

But these are great shots.  Love the edits with the heat shimmer effect . . . ;)

Thanks for the great comments guys! I'm having a photoshop binge right now, trying to put everything I've learned so far into these shots. Not that I've learned that much, or well, but still.

I'm going to be doing some cutting and pasting... any tips or links to tutes showing how to make the plane look like it 'belongs' in the picture would be most appreciated!

I've been wanting to do a sci-fi set for a long time, so I'm realising a little dream of mine! It's also a kind of small homage to Ian M. Banks' Culture novels, though not quite on the same literary level  ::) ;D

Thanks again for commenting, makes the effort worthwhile!
