Nice, its good to see a composite in here every once in awhile. The only thing I have against it is that the paintjob on the aircraft could be a bit sharper and i could ask for less jaggies. Other than that the first image looks better IMO, though the ageing on the second pic blends it a bit better I just like the first one better.

For the color... using the Color correction (Image/adjustments/color correction) on the plane layer...to get it to match the green tint you see on the background image...

You can apply a Gaussian Blur (filters/blur/gaussian) then go under Edit/fade gaussian blur to alter how it effects the image... you have the same options as you would to change the layers properties as well as the visibility of the blur
