Through simple use of the brush tool, on a low opacity. I can then fade it out with a low opacity eraser.

Takes a few tries to get the angles right, but it's worth it.

You just made my desktop, lol What do you use to get thoughs edits, I use paint shop pro 9, and Fireworks FX, and have tried all the filters and scripts and i got not even half have that quality edit :-/

Very nice, very nice indeed...it's now set as my desktop pic.

Although, you need more gun gas exahust coming from the firing of that massive GAU-8.  When that cannon fires it kicks out a nice little cloud.  ;D

Indeed. I would have studied it a little more and tried to make it a little more realistic, had my internet not gone down while I was drawing it in.
