Sabre profile, anyone?

Yup! a different background colour would make the plane stand out more.. (just don't change it to grey )

The only problem with changing the background colour, is that it can make it look quite unprofessional. I like to present it well!

Maybe you can do it up in two versions, one being the professional looking one that you have now and in another maybe add another plane or a sky background or something
