Been playing around with Photoshop  ;D

A couple of variations on a theme, still not sure about the exact composition but it'll look something like this.  Which do you prefer?

The second one's best, cause the ground textures look a bit better, although they're still not good.. :P

If I got something like CFS3 and downloaded OFF, would that provide a better WW1 background for edited shots?  CFS3 is only a few quid on eBay these days.
