Here is my first shot at editing screenshots. Hope you enjoy. If you have any advice or comments reply please.

The results of toying with the "effects" tab in Irfan on a Cessna 152

A black and White old style DC-3 shot.

The DC-3 in a old (but still color) look. Reminds me of my parents 1960's photo slides.

The first effect is awesome, and the last is not bad either. Good job

Now onto more complex edits!
