A little historical edit...

Postby Lazerbeak » Fri Jan 06, 2006 11:01 pm

I love taking pictures and making them look like "old" snapshots, so I decided to give it a try using FS screens. Here's the end result:

I may do some more later on. Hope you like!

The planes look great!!  :)
However, the scenery in the background doesnt.... otherwise I may have thought it to be real.  ;)

I'm glad you all like! Indeed, the second one was my favourite as well, I love sepia-tinted shots. ;D

I have to agree with Alphajet on the scenery. My comp's age means that the scenery has to take a major hit in the looks department. If my rig could handle it, I'd jump on a few scenery packages (mainly Silverwings), to make them a little more realistic. C'est la vie, I suppose.

Thats not exactly what I meant...
I just thought that placing this in the background might have spiced the image up a bit...

Image

However not everyone likes to combine sim and real in an edit so its just an idea..  :)

Love the edits though!

Ah, I see what you mean. The thought had crossed my mind while making them, but I decided to keep as much sim in the pic as I could. Of course, as far as my in-game scenery visuals go, splicing a real pic may not be a bad idea! :P

Thanks for the compliment though, I really appreciate it! :)
