Right, he's known for his famous rooftop Mi17 extraction in 1917...

The very same.

ok, that would kindof be like that i guess. The USAF goes in to get a person and needs to cover them, so I think that would qualify.

i couldnt figure out a way to get the tracers to glow in the NVG view like they would in real life, but that was only a formality

Use some white dodging over them with a slightly bigger soft brush.

Nice, but a suggestion. Helicopters when viewed through night vision cameras goggles and scopes, tend to have bright streaks on the tips of the rotors as they are spinning.

Yes the tracers need a little glow, that would spruce them up. Also on that chopper as Craig said the rotors when spining generate static electricity wich a NVG will pick up. So it will make it almost appear to be a frisby on the top ;) the first one is some of the best night vision ive seen done in photoshop. Great edits.

You can slap a minigun on just about anything-they're useful for chores the USAF is involved in, ya know ;D

OK, I found the link. Here is my muse to create these shots. I didn't sue the same detail because I went off of what I remembered choppers looking like through NVGs, but this guy started it all.

wait, how can he be known for a Mi-17 extraction in 1917? It just hit me on that, you mean a later date I hope. Unless he has a time machine he brought a helo back to over 40 years before it was invented to escape...
