
As dawn breaks over the midwest farmland in the year 1910, a young boy is walking along a country road with his birthday present, a brand new Kodak Brownie camera, when he hears the sound of a motor coming up behind him. Turning around, his wondering eyes behold a flying machine like the ones in the magazines flying just above the trees. The boy brings up his camera up and snaps off a shot just as the plane roars overhead. As the machine flys off, the boy sees the pilot look back and give him a wave, and waggle his wings in salute. Later when developed, the picture will be blurred due to the rapid motion of the plane and the camera's slow shutter speed, but for many a day the boy will gaze upon it and the sky as he dreams of dancing among the clouds in a machine of his own....
