Arado Attack

Postby BananaBob » Fri Jul 22, 2005 11:35 am

On April 19, 1945 Brian "Blackie" MacConnell of the RCAF 402 Squadron, shot down an Arado 234B jet. I don't know how he did it, lol, probably on takeoff or landing but I decided to show him coming in fast from above for the attack.

Most definately during take-off or landing. Those things were nearly uncatcheable in flight.

Nearly isn't impossible though. ;)

The spitfire was damaged beyond repair after the event...

If you read the story it seems that the guy wanted to show the tiffie pilots that the spit could do the same

Why doesn't the  Arado fit in? lol
