I just realised that theres no heat blur from the engine.  >:( Must of lost it when i converted the pic to a jpeg.

Sweet shot, it looks like there is heat blur to me, not too much though, maybe because you resized it ???  I don't know though, just my usual guess. ;)

I think the shot looks great as it is. The heat blur looks fine, remember that it's only when a plane is taking off that the heat blur is really visible because you're using the most thrust at that time.
