Perhaps if every judge keeps a copy of every post, then they can compare at the end and see if they've any missing. or perhaps a quick PM to one of us to say "I've entered"

Sounds good to me :)
Just need to find a reasonable solution to the 'where do we post our shots' problem ???

Unless we reduce the size limits, but then that also reduces quality :(

The rules posted by igorski are a good start.
I don't thinks it's a good think to let everyone just post a link.  If everyone has it's own thread then the comments on differed entries don't get mixed up and it's much more fun if you can see the pictures with the comments.
Maybe one of the mods will volunteer as a judge and we don't have to worry about making a post sticky. If not we just have to ask them to make it sticky.
I don

If we combine the ideas of just posting in then Edits forum, with some kind of "I've entered" message to let us know, so we know who to look for at the end, then it should work. It realies on people telling us, but as its in their best interests as far as the competition goes, then i figure people would do it, especially if it was inlcuded in the rules / guidelines

Sounds good, add the idea of mentioning it in their title, this could go down a storm ;)

Cheers,

How about a sticky post with a list of links to all the entries.

March sounds fine, gives us time to iron things out, I think a sticky post with links would be most useful to the ppl in charge / judging, but it would be them compiling it, so i dont see the need there, but hold on to the thought because that just my opinion.

The idea of the list is that every one how doesn't visit this forum every day can easely see who have entered and if you have entered, you can check if you are on the list and tell the judges if not.

OK fair point,  :) the person in charge of receiving and posting entrants will have to keep well on top of the job.

It doesn't need to be you who is responsible for the list

the same applys to this as i said with judging, as this is an un-official thing, we cant (and clearly dont want to) force anybody to do a particular job, so if you dont want to or cant do a job then say so, and we'll take voulenteres.

Also what of prises, could we arrange for something? maybe the winner gets put on a sticky each month?

your avatars are similar, except ones a gnat, and one a hunter  ;)

Prizes..........possibly, I mean, I'm sure your offer of the repaint would go down a treat ;)
Although something different would be nice every now-and-then ::)

One's a Gnat and one's a Hunter

Indeed, it's just the angle makes them look V.similar, they look good when flown together 8)
