I took these screenies of FS2000 (hoping to get 2004 this x-mas) and edited them, showing a tornado striking chicago. I made 2 of them, because I figured that I was supposed to include my airplane in it, so there are 2.
From the air. My plane's that white stripe in the center of the screen.

For multiple lightning, I simply put dozens of tiny t-storm layers close together. Hopefully, I'll get to do that in FS2004 as well.
