Fun with the F-5...

Take old design, add some features you found deep in a dossier cabinet... and rip off a well-known colorscheme

Someone decided to actually build the YF-17... and it isnt Northrop
Pictures, scroll down to end of page
Also a shot on 'Airliners.net' of two of the blue ones.
The green one on the bottom is yet another mod

Interesting how they intend to take on the world with those. The twin fin one has been around for a year or two now - the single fin one with the now shoulder mounted wing and new intakes was reported on only recently. I can't see them giving people too many sleepless nights...

Twin fin one is new... its a different aircraft than the seagreen one shown a while ago. Single fin gree one is yet another one... theres also a 2 seater version of that.
There's another photo of 2 domestic produced An-140 planes on that forum somewhere too... Having seen the demo model (painted with naked women... Aeromist Kharkiv) crash into a mountain didnt stop them of signing the contract

And theres your reason for the purchase. I suppose when they get their An-140s, they will modify them for carpet bombing purposes (look at the An-12).

Its meant to replace their F-27-600s... ASW and naval patrol plane.

For a sec I would of sworn they were the Blue Angels, Why would they copy the color scheme? If you hate the US why do you try to do stuff like them?  Well copying is the best form of flatter?!
