What is this?

The only info the web site gave was it was a 747-200 but look at the wings and engines  :o. What variant is it (if any)? I don't know

The engines are fake....it was used as the new plane (I forget it's name) in the latest Bond movie Casino Royale...

It is used as a film set and is parked at Dunsfold...many of our members have got piccies of it from the airshow there I believe...

and no...it doesn't fly ;)

Skyfleet s5700 something.... The plane is now a resident @ Dunsfold and belongs to Aces high film company.. you can also see it in many Top gear episodes in the background :D

Now the real fun thing though.. The plane was modified for a movie which was massivly sponsored by Ford.... and here you see it pulled by one of Fords Competitors... Volkswagen :D

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

Nah. Too ugly to be a B-52.

It's a regular old 747 that's been modified for a Movie I believe. One of the newer James Bond ones
