The only bit I was unsure about was the towing All the rest I knew But the pictures are just great!

Note on the Merlin I (aka PV-12)

It appears it was rated at:

take off: 890hp @ 2850rpm @ ground level/sea level

"international": 990HP @2600rpm @ 12,250ft

MAX: 1,030 @ 3,000rpm at 16,250ft

(Jane's Fighting A/C of WW2/ engines section)
