Churchill history

Postby RitterKreuz » Thu Dec 29, 2005 4:54 pm

British Prime Minister Winston Churchill was once seen in the ladies rest room at an up scale formal gathering.

But he was not embarrassed by this happening in the least bit.

Why?

He was born at Blenheim Palace, dude. Direct descendant of Lord Malborough.

Was it because he mixed up the genders?

EDIT:

I have to be completely fair here in this bit of trivia, it is still widely debated whether or not Winston was born in the ladies room, or the adjacent living quarters. My big book of facts and trivia shows him as born in a ladies room at a ball... appears the debate is not settled.

but for the sake of woodlouse winning a cookie... we'll assume it was a bathroom.

I think it would have taken a lot more than that to embarrass good old Winnie. ;)

On occasion, I guess he did rather "face the toilet" throughout his life even with the opposite gender... 8)
