Of course, there has never been any believable evidence to suggest otherwise.  All the theory's about a faked landing were basically inspired by the movie "Capricorn One."

Personally, I doubt the moon landings.

I find it hard to believe we went to the moon back in the days prior to anything remotely comparible to todays computer hardware, we seem, in this modern era, to struggle to keep the shuttles from blowing up on launch and / or re-entry.

Also, theres considerable doubt about some of the photographs produced at that time, something about the light not being right if I recall correctly.

Also, looking through some books I have, I see no stars on the pictures taken by the Astronauts on the Moon, weird considering I can see them from down here....

Frankly, I'd doubt it today, nevermind from an era when modern technology, as we now know it, was inconcievable.

Don't get me started on this one. :o ;D

I was never too convinced that everything I watched on TV at the time was genuine. Despite the claims of the pro-space lobby it would have been possible to fake a Moon landing if necessary as the stakes were high & failure would have been unacceptable. However, as the Soviet scientists were convinced I have to accept that Man did land on the Moon back in 1969.

I think the film Capricorn One was inspired by the doubts of people like myself rather than giving us the idea. ;)

Here is a very nice website that specifically takes the major moon hoax arguements (including the lighting and lack of stars) and pokes holes in them with ease:
http://pirlwww.lpl.arizona.edu/~jscotti/NOT_faked/.

It goes into very good detail explaining why the lighting appears as it does in the photographs.

Is it painful for you to accept this?   :o

Just go with it.  It's just history.

Not painful but still sceptical. You're right, it's history. The important thing was that the Soviets did believe it. Beating them to the Moon was the whole point of the exercise.

Are you relying on the Soviets for you to be convinced?

Don't put words in my mouth. ;)

The Soviet scientists were far more qualified than me to find faults & had every reason to do so. They were the only ones that could have exposed a fake or had any reason to do so. If they'd suspected for one moment that something was not right they would have told the world about it. As they were convinced then an unqualified person like me has to accept their expert opinion.

It just seems to me that the Apollo moon landings were accepted by the whole international scientific community, but you singled out the Soviets as the source that you cite that convinces you.

I'll leave it alone.  Just makes me wonder.
