NO more FLYING for Me - its History !

Postby Jetranger » Sun Jun 03, 2012 12:22 pm

Well, it appears there will be no more Flying for me, for quite sometime - its History. I've just been informed by my Chief Pilot / Father (81 yrs.old) that he just Sold his 1965 Cessna 172 , that he always kept hangered, the last 17 years, after him flying the last 53 years, he also has givin up his Pilots license, and drivers license, due to a few health problems. The last 10 years he flew out of MO-32 with that Cessna 172, kept in fairly good shape all those years. Since I was a kid I've been up in all kinds of Aircraft, either with him or his pilot friends , from the Cessna in the photos below, to Twin Engine Beech Crafts, Ford Tri-Motors, Lear Jets, Mooney Bravos, Bell 206 Heli, Aircraft I can't even remember or know the names of. I'm really not all that into flying, except on my FSX Flight Simulator, which I like doing, Because that way I can Fly / Own all kinds of Aircraft from props to Jets, and NEVER have to carry Insurance or worry about the FAA or get a physical, or Hanger all "3700 of my Aircraft" ~ !! ( includes A.I. aircraft too / Traffic X).  Ohhh Well, guess I'll just have to call up Ol' John and take me for Flights in his Boeing 707 V-Jet from now on' Ohhhh Well,,,ImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImage

Hey don't give up hope! If you want to do it -- there will be plenty of opportunities ahead for you. :) .. If the motive is there for you in the years ahead - of course you can do it again!

I speak from experience.
