Very good read.

As someone who is currently revalidating my old PPL it's something I didn't know anything about. Manifold pressure gauge is not included in the basic PA28 I am flying but it is something all pilots should know about.


Also reminds me of a carb heat article I have just been reading

If you get a chance could you post that article on Carb. Heat, I think it would benefit a lot of folks who would love to fly the simulator with more realism... ;)

Carburetor Heat is very important, the last Douglas DC3/C47/Dak that was lost with all crew flying in the Royal Canadian Air Force was lost at low level, on a Search and Rescue flight was due to Carburetor Heat.
