What do you fly?

So Simviation, what what do you fly in real life?

I fly an Aeronca C-3, Cessna 185, and I used to fly a Piper Cub, but it is getting recovered right now.

I don't own it, but when I get my licence over the aummer it will be in a piper warrior iii and a 172rg.

Haven't flown since '98, when I delivered my PA20 to it's new owner up by FAI.

All of my training and everything has been done in a Zlin 242L and a PA44 Piper Seminole. I graduate from school at the end of April, so when I go off this summer to get my instructor rating, I'll fly for the first time in a Cessna anything, haha. I can only hope that it lives up to my standards set by those Zlin's.

LOL! I have mostly time in Cessnas, but spent a memorable hour learning aerobatics in a 242 some years ago. Sweet airplane!
You might find it a bit of a letdown going in the other direction... 
But Cessna flying has its own rewards; learn to fly it well and you will enjoy it.

Almost forgot... 

Been a while because of the weather, but lately I've been flying a Schwiezer SGS 2-33, working up to my Private Pilot-glider rating.  After that I'll probably get into the club's cingle seat 1-26.

Can't really afford, right now, to do that and rent power planes as well, but I occasionally get stick time in friend's planes:

Earn my cash flying the VC10 for the time being. Not too long left for the old bird (well, two of them certainly, as they're off for scrap next week )

I really wish I could go up in a Zlin! If it's Eastern European (or Russian), I want to fly it!

Personally, I did my training on a Cessna 150, then switched over to a 172 after the solo flight. Following that, I switched (sort of) once more to a Cessna 172RG "Cutlass" for the complex endorsement. It's been quite a while since I've been flying though.

I also have unofficial stick time on:

Eurocopter AS365 Dauphin (multiple times)
Bell 430 (once)
Fairchild PT-26 (once)

Also, if I get back into flying over the summer months, the airport I am out of looks to be about 105nm west-southwest of 47N, so that's a possible destination for me, and fairly comfortable to do both distance-wise and airspace-wise.

The Zlin is an incredible aircraft, in my opinion... we're the only school in North America (from what I've been told) to operate them, we have 9. Sadly, my graduating class is probably the last class to fly in them, as they're coming up on time (the most seasoned one has like... 10500 and something hours on it, and Zlin doesn't sell the wings for these things anymore). It's easily the craziest airplane I've seen to-date. It's glide performance is that of a rock, yet this thing can spin from 5000 feet and the occupants will be just fine (well, maybe not fine, but alive for the most part). Also, aerobatics are awesome, got my first taste of some real aerobatics, and I'm hooked, haha.

Haha! No problem! I just hope to get up in something from that side of the globe in the coming years!

Still another 3 years or so on the fleet before the final aeroplanes go, then the A330 probably, or the C-17. Probably not the Tristar. One fleet draw down would be enough for me! (Instructing could be an option too)
