Noticed something on this old pic...

I took this photo a few years back, parked at CYXD. The Seabee is an interesting type, hence the reason the photo was taken. Anyway, upon looking at it recently, I noticed the reg - and what was written directly below it. It's rather appropriate.

:D
I thought there was something odd about this "Seabee", and some research proved me right: it's a Spencer S12 "Air Car".
Not surprisingly, it was designed by the same guy- Percy Spencer- who did the Seabee for Republic.

Oopsy, my bad - enjoyed the last link, though! Thanks for clarifying.

(p.s. There are 2 CF-101's at the CYXD museum, unless they have disposed of either recently...they also have a Pacific Western 732 on display)

Certainly looks like one. Incidentally the first operational aircraft to use afterburner!

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.
