SDU and 2016

Postby chornedsnorkack » Wed Oct 07, 2009 7:07 am

Now that LCY has demonstrated long-haul services, what about SDU?

SDU is even shorter than LCY (runway length 1508 m in LCY, 1323 m in SDU) and has hotter climate - but not those buildings under approaches.

Where are the Olympic venues compared to SDU and GIG? And shall SDU be upgraded for 2016?

LCY is London City.

SDU is Rio de Janeiro Santos-Dumont airport.

GIG is Rio de Janeiro Galeao airport.

It's a joke. They have to stop in SNN to refuel, then continue to JFK. I honestly don't think this service will still be in place this time next year. You'd have to take out a mortgage just to buy a ticket.

Just like you do for any BA business class ticket?
