AOPA

Hey, just a heads up the AOPA is doing safety seminars.

I attended one this past Tuesday on GPS, and enjoyed it.

It did not focus on the GPS system so much as it did all the extra systems that rely on the reciever, and what it means for the pilot.

There was also a lot of good common sense safety talk.

If you are AOPA, or thinking about joining, I encourage you to go. Plus, its always fun to get together with other pilots.
There were about 100 to 125 of us there.

I was actually debating going to the one we're having here in a few weeks.  Sounds like maybe I should stop by.  Thanks for the heads up. ;)

Yeah, I still haven't made it to any of those. I treat my AOPA and EAA memberships like glorified magazine subscriptions... ::)
