Logbook hours

Postby 757200ba » Fri Apr 17, 2009 10:28 am

Hello this might sound lazy but, does anyone know a good calculator for flying hours?
The kind you input the hours and give you the total time?
Many thanks

I have to admit I'm terrible. I've never got around to finding one, and end up doing it manually on scrap paper. :) Mind you, the number of hours I get per month it isn't exactly taxing. :)

I use Logbook Pro. Keeps track of everything you ever wanted to know and more. I also keep a paper logbook as well.

Unless you do a lot of flying, I think the old-fashioned way works fine. When I do eventually fill a page, I just tally 'em up. If you carry the previous total hours for each column, it's easy.

Doing it this way, you may also find yourself looking a previous entries, and thinking about your flights. This is a good thing.

Excel does the job fine... You can get it to total up quarterly summaries and all sorts!
