Postby skoker » Sun Mar 29, 2009 6:17 pm

In a few weeks I will be going to Tampa via Baltimore.  I will be taking SWA  and I would like to know where do you think is the best place to sit on the -700 or -300? :-?

On any airliner, the first emergency exit behind the wing is my usual choice, because aside from the obvious safety enhancement, you get more elbow and leg room at an emergency exit.

in a -700, seat row 12
in a -800 seat row 14 and 15
The above are the emergency over wing exits and the leg room as much greater.
In a -300, take sleeping pills ;D

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.
