Flight 116

11-19-03

C150

MGJ-local

1.0 dual; 4 landings

"Normal landings/takeoffs; short field takeoff"

By the time of this flight, I hadn't flown in over two years. The pain of not flying had faded somewhat, but on this particular day I had a little extra money, and the weather was terrific. I suddenly needed to fly. It wouldn't be a proper review, just a little refresher.
The young CFI was happy to be helping me out in this way, and after a little maneuvering we came back to shoot a few landings. I did pretty well, all things considered, but afterwards I was feeling gloomy again. I wished I hadn't given myself another taste, and vowed that I would not fly again until I could do so on a more regular basis.
